There's a lot more to tires than you may expect there to be. Not only do they need to have good tread and need to be wearing evenly, but they also need to get properly inflated. They also need to get all of those little caps on each valve to prevent debris from causing your tires to lose air. If you don't know how much air to put into your tires, then it's a great idea to begin your quest by looking in the door jamb of the driver's side door. If you don't find a decal there specifying the correct PSI, then check in the glove box. Why not just look on the side of your tires? Because if you want optimal performance out of your tires, then you may not want to just go by that PSI recommendation. Also, check your tires with a tire gauge. That is an extremely helpful tool.
