Last week at the Burghley Horse Trials, an annual event that takes place in the UK, an innovative new technology was put on display by none other than the coveted Land Rover brand.
That innovative technology is the Transparent Trailer concept and an accompanying Cargo Sense app, which aim to improve the safety of you, your vehicle, your trailer, and your cargo while you're hauling a large load behind your Land Rover model. Cameras utilized on the sides and rear of the vehicle, as well as an additional wireless camera on the trailer, make the trailer appear see-through. This means easier and safer highway maneuvering and more peace of mind on the road, especially when you're hauling a horse carrier.
When paired with the Cargo Sense app for your smartphone, you can also check on the status of your trailer and cargo from a remote location. Although these technologies are not yet commercially available, there's plenty of innovative features at Land Rover Jaguar Lakeside to choose from in the form of the 2016 Land Rover lineup while we await their arrival.
