Potholes. We all can't stand them. They are a nuisance, and we know that they have the potential to do damage to our vehicles, so we all do our best to avoid them, when possible. What if we had technology that helped us do that, though? Well, it's not so far-fetched.
Land Rover has been working on Pothole Alert Technology, in homes they can apply it to future new Land Rover vehicles. The idea is that the technology will allow cars to identify potholes while driving, and gather information about it. That ranges from the location and severity of the pothole, then, using connected car technology, it can alert fellow drivers, as well as local authorities to avoid it, and prioritize repairs for our roads.
We don't think anyone out there is going to disapprove of that. Hopefully, we start seeing it in Land Rover vehicles, and all others, so we can have a greater driving experience, collectively. Until then, you can view the many quality models here in our Macomb, MI showroom at Land Rover Lakside, and we'd be happy to answer any questions.
