Our newsfeeds are over-crowded by headlines from the Detroit Auto Show reading "the new beast has arrived," and "the rebel is here," you know, intimidating, over-the-top marketing ploys like that. Our team here at Land Rover of Lakeside prefers the more worthwhile, a bit more subtle headlines like this one: "Land Rover brand debuts two new diesel engines." That sounds a bit more approachable, don't you think? Check it out.
We'll find these new diesel engines inside the Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport. The brand predicts we'll see 32% better fuel efficiency ratings, up from the gasoline-powered V6 engine. It's also estimated we could get 22 mpg city and 28 mpg highway, totaling a 25 mpg combined. It's even said both Range Rover models will get a staggering 658 miles of range on just one tank. We'll give our Land Rover model enthusiasts a second to take that all in.
