This year, Land Rover celebrates the 25th anniversary of an ambitious Great Divide Expedition, wherein a fleet of 1989 Range Rover models traversed the tough terrain of the Continental Divide. See how far Range Rovers have come in "The Road Less Travelled," a video series featuring journalist and filmmaker Bryn Mooser and his adventures to America's remote areas in a Range Rover Sport.

The series explores people and their surroundings while highlighting the iconic off-road performance of the Land Rover model and title as the go-to adventure vehicle. Watch this video to see how Mooser prepares for the off-road trek with driving instructor Jim Swett by testing the limits of the model:

The team at Land Rover Jaguar Lakeside is sure Mooser chose the right model to complete the journey. The 2014 model is not only ranked the number one luxury midsize SUV by U.S. News, but has 25 years of off-road technology under it's belt since the Great Divide Expedition. With features like Terrain Response technology to adjust performance to terrain type and Hill Descent Control, as well as a wading depth of 33.5 inches, the Range Rover is incredibly off-road capable.
