When the Range Rover Sport was first introduced back during the 2006 model year, drivers were blown away by the raw power and performance that this mighty SUV could provide. Of course that wasn't enough for the guys at company HQ. They really wanted to see exactly how far they could push the Range Rover Sport. Which brings us to the new SVR variant.
We don't know much about the car at this point. We have only been told that it will be packing the brand's powerful 5.0-liter supercharged V8 engine capable of delivering 550 horsepower. To illustrate how impressive that engine is, the new 2015 Range Rover Sport SVR just set the lap time record for SUVs at the legendary Nurburgring race track in Germany.
